Permanent residence for Alexis, a new contract, and clearing up a backlog of pictures.

I haven't been posting or taking pictures lately, but I'm just going to clear up a small backlog of pictures from the summer over the next little while. I've been very busy starting up on a new long-term full-time contract for INgrooves, a digital record label in San Francisco.

On another note, Alexis is now a Permanent Resident of Canada. She had her final landing interview on Tuesday. That means that, subject to a few restrictions (can't vote, has to be in Canada for 2 out of every 5 years, can be deported if convicted of a serious crime, etc.), she has the same rights as a Canadian Citizen (which she will be eligable to become in three years). All told the process took a little over a year, from getting married, getting police clearances, putting together the application, and waiting for it to be approved.
