Photos: Penticton Road Trip
In October 1998 I drove out to Penticton in the interior of B.C. to visit a friend working at the radio telescope. These photos start with the ferry trip from Vancouver Island to the mainland, then continue along the Trans-Canada Highway and Crowsnest Pass and finish with pictures of the radio telescope and a hike we did up a nearby hill. The Okanogan Valley (where Penticton is located) is interesting because the climate and nature there are totally different from the rest of B.C..
