Photos
I'm not a great photographer, but sometimes I go through periods where I take lots of photos. Until August 2002, I used an old Epson PhotoPC 550 camera. Then I used a Pentax Optio 230, which drowned. Now I use a Canon PowerShot A200.
I am in the process of transitioning from posting photos here to posting them with my weblog entries. Many of the albums, especially those that were added recently, have been removed and the photos added to the corresponding weblog entries instead. See my weblog to look at them. I intend gradually post more of these photos on my weblog and remove them from here, until most if not all of the galleries are gone.

Penticton Road Trip (1 paragraphs, 25 images)
In October 1998 I drove out to Penticton in the interior of B.C. to visit a friend working at the radio telescope. These photos start with the ferry trip from Vancouver Island to the mainland, then continue along the Trans-Canada Highway and Crowsnest Pass and finish with pictures of the radio telescope and a hike we did up a nearby hill. The Okanogan Valley (where Penticton is located) is interesting because the climate and nature there are totally different from the rest of B.C..
