Vocoder: Download
The vocoder is available as C source code or as a compiled binary for certain platforms. The source code should compile just about anywhere.
Download the latest version for your operating system/processor:
- InstallZeriusVocoder13.exe
- Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP with Graphical User Interface (v1.3)
- vocoder-1.2-x86-win32.zip
- Windows 95/98/NT/2000/XP Command-Line (v1.2): Use this version if you are using one of the older front-ends, or want to use the vocoder in batch files. Otherwise, use the above.
- vocoder-1.1b1-x86-beos.tar.gz
- Be OS (x86) (v1.1b1)
- vocoder-1.2-ppc-beos.zip
- Be OS (PPC)(v1.2)
- vocoder-1.2-m68k-amiga.lha
- Amiga (680x0) (v1.2)
- vocoder-1.2-ppc-amiga.lha
- Amiga (PPC) (v1.2)
- zerius-vocoder-1.0.1_mac.hqx
- Mac OS (PPC or 680x0) (v1.0.1): This version is very old, and I recommend that you download ZVocoder or Zerius Vocoder X (listed in links) instead.
- vocoder-1.3-src.tar.gz
- C Source code (v1.3)
Older versions are available on the download site.
Note that the latest version is not available as a binary for all platforms. This is because I don't run most of these platforms, so any help with compiling binaries would be very much appreciated.
If you're using a Macintosh, you may want to check out the links, which has a couple of much better Macintosh derivations of this vocoder.
